Keys of the Keyboards are not the standard spring-loaded keys. Keys are made in two separate sections. The front section is pivoted on the slot of middle rack and the back section pivoted on the rack fitted at the top of the reed board. Spike shaped wooden sticks pivoting under the keys on thin metal pins to operate the octave key. It is a very skilful job to make the fix coupler. It requires high quality workmanship and high quality seasoned hard wood. This intricate design of coupler makes a feather touch keyboard, which requires insignificant finger pressure to play on the keys.
